Milk and biberon: here is the right temperature

When preparing the bottle with baby milk, always check that the temperature is not excessively high or too low. This occurs especially when powdered milk is heated, but even more when previously frozen milk has to be heated.

To establish the ideal temperature for the infant’s milk, it is necessary to rely on breast milk.

Breast milk comes out of the mother’s breast between 35 and 37 degrees: this is the ideal temperature to allow milk to be well digested by the newborns and at the same time not to burn them.

Some essential tips to keep in mind: powdered milk must always be used with slightly mineralized water. It is therefore preferable to avoid tap water or water not suitable for infant feeding. Furthermore, after heating the bottle, the milk must be consumed within thirty minutes because some bacteria can proliferate as the temperature drops. If you use the microwave at home, it is certainly better to avoid using it to warm baby milk: it is difficult to determine the temperature in this way. The outside of the bottle may be lukewarm while the milk inside is hot and thus scald the baby.

So how to measure the temperature of the milk avoiding even serious risks? Accuracy is obviously fundamental, so the ideal solution is to use a thermometer.

I.P.S. (International Products and Services) has created IDEAL TEMP for this, the practical bottle thermometer that constantly detects the temperature of the liquid. Equipped with a convenient adhesive strip, positioning IDEAL TEMP on the bottle below the liquid level, you will immediately be informed if the temperature is correct or not.

IDEAL TEMP is a 100% MADE IN ITALY product designed exclusively to provide all parents with a valid, safe and reliable tool for protecting the health of their baby.
